Why I built this
My newsletter got better. It also got harder to make.
I am Monica Froese. I have spent the last decade building and selling digital products, more than 60,000 students and over $8M in revenue, with a newsletter that goes out to more than 20,000 readers every week.
When my old Friday flash-sale email stopped working, I replaced it with The Empowered Edge, a real newsletter with a story, an AI news section, and a roundup of things worth my readers' time. It opens at 53 to 61 percent. It was also a lot of work to build every single week, and the part eating my time was never the thinking, it was the assembling.
So I handed the assembling to Claude with a skill. This is the version I built for you, so you can set up your own newsletter system once and stop rebuilding it every Thursday night.

What exactly is an AI Skill?
A plain text file you install into your own AI account. It is not a prompt you paste each time and it is not a tool you log into. Once it is installed it loads automatically whenever you ask for a newsletter.
Do I need a paid account?
In Claude, no. A free Claude account works. In ChatGPT, skills work on any paid plan but are not available on the free plan yet. The setup guide covers both, and you also get free access to the Portable Brain Skill Extractor if you want to run it somewhere else.
What if I haven't launched a newsletter yet?
That's fine. During the setup interview the skill gives you three newsletter concepts based on your brand, and you build from the one you like best.
Can I change things later?
Yes. Ask for a change while you're using it and the skill regenerates your skill file with the new information. Reinstall the updated file and you're done.
Is this really included, or is there a catch?
It is included with your Hand It to Claude bundle and the file is yours to keep. You'll get a few emails from me afterwards about how to use it, and one of them mentions a paid product. Unsubscribe any time and the skill still works.
Who should skip this?
