Who has paid, and who is still in a trial?
The Skill sorts every member into paid at least once, still inside an unbilled trial, or cancelled before a single charge. That one split is the difference between my 76% and my 35%.
The Real Conversion Check reads your member export, separates the people who have paid you from the people still sitting in a free trial, and shows you the conversion rate you can plan around.
Free. I will email you the Skill and the setup steps, and nothing you did not ask for.
Most membership platforms tell you how many members are active. That is not the same as how many have paid, and the gap is widest right after a launch, which is exactly when you are deciding what to do next.
The Skill sorts every member into paid at least once, still inside an unbilled trial, or cancelled before a single charge. That one split is the difference between my 76% and my 35%.
Every launch or signup window becomes its own cohort, with how many trialed, how many converted, and how many are still paying today, laid side by side so you can see which push brought in members who stayed.
It flags the rows that contradict themselves, like a member marked as never paid who has revenue attached. When I ran this on my own data, it moved real money out of the wrong column.
Right after the free trial for my August event closed, I pulled my numbers and it looked like 76% of trial members had converted, tied with my best event ever. Then I looked closer. Twenty-eight of those members were still inside a trial that had not billed yet, and every one of them cancelled before they were ever charged. The real conversion rate was 35%, my lowest of the year.
You do not need a new tool or a data person. You need the member list you already have and about fifteen minutes.
Active is not the same as paid, and I learned that the expensive way.
I am Monica Froese, and I run Empowered Business™ and the Empowered Business Society®, an implementation community where members build real AI systems together every month. Most of my new members come in through a free live event and a 7-day trial, which means the moment I most want to know how a launch went is the moment my numbers are least reliable.
So I stopped trusting the active count and started keeping a member ledger instead: every trial, every payment, every cancellation. This Skill is that method, packaged so you can run it on your own export without building the ledger first.

No. If you can download a CSV from your platform, you can run this. The Skill reads the file, asks you what any unclear columns mean, and does the math. You never write a formula.
It is an AI Skill, so it installs in Claude or ChatGPT. The setup steps that arrive with it walk you through both.
It stays in your own AI account. You upload the file to your own Claude or ChatGPT conversation, and I never see it. If your platform export includes details you would rather not share with an AI tool at all, remove those columns first. The Skill only needs names or IDs, dates, and payment or status information.
It still works. Without a trial, the Skill treats each signup month or launch as a cohort and shows how many from each are still paying, along with any records that do not add up.
The Skill and the setup steps arrive by email within a few minutes. Over the following week I send a couple more emails about what to do with the numbers once you have them. You can unsubscribe from any of them.
If you do not have paying members yet, there is nothing for it to measure. Come back once your first launch has closed.
Free for membership owners. Enter your email and the Skill lands in your inbox with the setup steps.
