The ask
Four things, whether you sponsor or not.All of it goes in with your application. One form, one deadline.
Every contributor submits the same four things on the application itself, so there is no second round of forms to chase. Three of them build your spread in the free guide, a PDF that goes out to the whole list. The fourth, your system, goes into the paid VIP pass, which every contributor gets free. Sponsors add one more thing, a live talk. Nobody submits a recording, a workshop, or a bare prompt.

Your part
Three commitments, same for every tier.The guide works because everyone in it sends people to it.
You get a spread, a link, and projected leads. In return, every contributor and sponsor promotes the guide once by email and once inside the community. That's it. Sponsors don't send a second email; the live session rides along in the same one.
Promote the guide and your spread using your affiliate link. It tracks your leads and pays you 50% on every VIP pass bought through it. Sponsors plug their live session into this same email.
Point members to the free guide and your Steal My System in the VIP pass. Everyone in the guide is a member of the Empowered AI Collective, so if you're not in yet, join before you apply.
Deliver your session live, then engage in the comments on your own session post and at least two other session posts in the community during live week.

I don't have a polished tool built yet. Can I still apply?
Yes. Name and describe the system on the application, and tell us where it stands. The link itself just has to be live by October 15, when we start QA. Start with the thing you already use, even if it's rough. A spreadsheet you open every week is a better submission than a fictional dream tool.
How long does the application take?
Plan 30 to 40 minutes. It collects everything for your spread in one go: bio, headshot, free resource, the 8 interview answers, and your system. The form doesn't save progress, so sit down with it once.
What if I can't commit to a live talk?
Apply as a free contributor, or as a Spotlight Sponsor if you want the newsletter reach without a live slot. Either way you get a full spread in the guide.
Is there a separate application for sponsors?
No. One application covers everyone. You'll mark whether you're interested in sponsoring and at which level, and Monica follows up with sponsor details alongside your acceptance.
When do applications close?
September 30, 2026, or earlier if the 25 spreads fill first. Spots are confirmed in the order applications come in: 25 spreads total in the guide, 12 of them sponsor spots, and 6 of those with a live talk. If you want in, apply early.
Is this just another guide people download and forget?
It's built not to be. The guide is promoted for the full month to 23,000 subscribers and inside a community of about 4,000 active members, live week puts sponsors in front of a live room, and every spread links to your own free resource so readers become your leads. We project roughly 600 to 750 new leads for sponsors and around 300 for contributors. Those are projections from past events, not guarantees.
Why do you ask for a value on my system and my free resource?
Your Steal My System needs a retail value of at least $47, and your free resource at least $27. The system value is listed next to it in the VIP pass, so it has to be a number you'd charge if a reader asked to buy it directly. The free resource stays free; its value shows on your spread so readers see what they're getting. Keep both honest. Inflated numbers are what make guides like this feel cheap, and we'll push back on them.
Can my Steal My System just be a prompt?
No. It needs to be something someone can open and use: a Claude Artifact (or its ChatGPT Site equivalent), an AI Skill, or a vibe-coded app. If what you've got is a prompt, we'll help you turn it into something more than that before you submit.
What am I expected to do to promote it?
Two things, whatever your tier: one dedicated email to your full list between November 1 and 9 using the tracking link we give you (proof of send by the 9th), and one post inside the Empowered AI Collective any time in November. Sponsors with a live session promote it in that same email, no second send, and show up live plus engage in the comments during live week. You'll confirm all of this on the application.
Do I need to be in the Empowered AI Collective?
Yes. Every contributor and sponsor is a member, because the guide is promoted there all month and your community post goes there. If you're not in yet, join before you apply.
What goes in the free guide and what goes in the VIP pass?
Your interview answers, bio, headshot, and free resource link make up your spread in the free guide, a PDF that goes out to the whole list and inside the community. Your Steal My System is not in the free PDF. It is included in the paid VIP pass, the upgrade readers buy to get every contributor's working system plus the live week replays. Every contributor gets the VIP pass free. Both are yours to keep and reuse; you're licensing them to appear in the guide and the pass.
Do I earn anything on the VIP pass?
Yes. Every contributor and sponsor gets an affiliate link and earns a 50% commission on every VIP pass sold through it. That same link is the one you use in your dedicated email and community post, so your promotion is tracked and paid.
Can I change my submission after I apply?
No. What you submit on the application is final, including your system, your free resource, your interview answers, and your values. The guide gets built from the applications directly, so sit down with the form once and send it when it's right.
What can't be my free resource?
Anything that asks the reader for a credit card, and any trial membership. Free means free: a reader gives an email address and gets the thing. Templates, checklists, tools, mini trainings, and swipe files all work.
Can I contribute something I've submitted to a past event?
No. If your free resource or your system appeared in any of the last three Empowered Business events, it can't be in this one. Repeat submissions get flagged and pushed back, so bring something this audience hasn't seen from you.
Who shouldn't apply?
If you don't use AI in how you plan or run your business, and you'd be building something just for this guide, it's not a fit. We're looking for real systems, not theory.
