Why it matters
Your list doesn't need another news roundup
Your subscribers can read the headlines anywhere. What they come to you for is your take on why a story matters to their business, and the thing you sell that helps them act on it. This skill does the reading and the matching, so the part left for you is the part only you can do.
Why I built this
I already read the news. I just wasn't selling from it.
I am Monica Froese. I have spent the last decade building and selling digital products, more than 60,000 students and over $8M in revenue, with a newsletter that goes out to more than 20,000 readers every week.
I subscribe to a handful of AI newsletters, like most of us do, and for a long time they were just reading. So I built a skill that reads them for me every morning and checks every story against my whole product catalog. It hands me three angles and a drafted email, and my job is to add the part that sounds like my week. It is the sourcing engine behind the newsletter I talk about in my summit session, and this version is built to run on your newsletters and your products instead of mine.

What exactly is an AI Skill?
A plain text file you install into your own AI account. It is not a prompt you paste each time and it is not a tool you log into. Once it is installed it loads automatically whenever you ask for your news angles.
Which AI assistant do I need?
Claude works best, because it can read your newsletters straight from Gmail once you turn on the Gmail connector. The same file also installs in ChatGPT on any paid plan. The setup guide covers both.
What do I need before I start?
The names of two to six AI newsletters you already subscribe to, your product list with prices and links, and one recent email you sent to your list so the skill can learn how you write. Setup takes ten to twenty minutes.
What if I only sell one or two products?
It still works. Some days you'll get one or two strong angles instead of three, because the skill only matches stories that make a believable hook for something you sell. Those days still give you a usable email.
Is this really included, or is there a catch?
It is included with your VIP pass and the file is yours to keep. You'll get a few emails from me afterwards about how to use it, and one of them mentions a paid product. Unsubscribe any time and the skill still works.
